Ketika seorang mahasiswa menginjak semester 6, biasanya di kampus saya diadakan yang namanya Kerja Praktek (KP). Waktu itu saya mengambil KP di PEMDA Kuningan khusunya di Bgan Pembangunan SETDA Kuningan, adapun materi yang diambil mengenai APBD. Troubleshooting on/off Vaio

IMPORTANT:

* While following this procedure, note the LED status at each step. This will provide additional information for the technician if repair becomes necessary.

* If model-specific information is required to complete any of the steps in this solution, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product. Manuals are available online in the Manuals/Specs/Warranty section of the Sony® eSupport Web site.

NOTE: Some computers are designed with hooks above the LCD screen that secure the lid when closed. A switch inside the holes below the touchpad detects when the lid is closed and latched. If the switch is stuck, the computer may not turn on properly. Check to make sure the switch is working properly.

1. Connect the AC adapter [FIG.2] into a known working AC outlet and to the DC jack on the notebook.

NOTES:

* Do not connect the AC adapter to a surge protector or extension cord.

* If the DC jack on the computer is loose or damaged, the computer may require service.

* Some AC adapters have a POWER LED indicator and can be confirmed as receiving power by ensuring the LED is lit. If the AC adapter is damaged or the LED is not lit when plugged into a working AC outlet, the adapter must be replaced. A replacement AC adapter can be obtained from the Sony® Parts and Accessories Sales Web site or by calling (800) 488-7669.

2. Attempt to turn on the computer normally.

3. Press and hold the Power Switch for 5 seconds.

4. Remove the battery.

5. Disconnect the AC power adapter.

6. Press and hold the Power Switch for 5 seconds.

7. Connect the AC power adapter.

8. Attempt to turn on the computer.

NOTE: If the computer turns on without the battery, connect and charge the battery for 24 hours.

9. Disconnect all external devices that are connected to the computer.

NOTE: These devices include, but are not limited to, a modem, floppy disk drive, network connection, USB device, printer, keyboard, or mouse.

10. Attempt to turn on the computer.

11. Remove any additional Random Access Memory (RAM) that was installed in the computer.

12. Attempt to turn on the computer.

NOTES:

* The troubleshooting steps listed above should resolve your issue. If you have completed all of the steps and the issue is not resolved, service may be required. The Sony® eService Web site at http://eservice.sony.com/ can assist you in obtaining service from a Sony Service Center or locating a Sony Authorized Servicer.

* When shipping the computer for repair, include all notes of the LED status that displayed during troubleshooting.

Beberapa cara mengatasi masalah USB Flasdisk

Cara Memperbaiki USB FlashDisk

Ini ada salah satu cara untuk bisa di lakukan apabila kena masalah USB yang tidak terdeteksi oleh komputer alias tidak bisa dibuka di my computer,

Logika secara umum :
Flash disk tidak terdeteksi mungkin dikarenakan driver FDD tidak sesuai dengan OS yang dipakai, terdapat crash system fat pada flash disk tersebut dan kemungkinan terakhir flash disk anda rusak total. Adapaun untuk penanganan dini memperbaikinya sbb.

Buka Command prompt, start->run->”cmd”

masuk ke drive USB, misal : e: / f: / g:
ketik : chkdsk /f –> kenapa /f ? search di cmd, ‘help chkdsk’
Pilih yes(y) untuk melakukan proses checkdisk setelah kompi di restart
Lakukan restart PC, biarkan proses berlangsung setelah winlogon

Apabila cmd tidak bisa masuk ke dalam drive usb tersebut, hal diatas masih bisa dilakukan dari drive manapun, dengan perintah : chkdsk (:e/f/g drive usb) [/…]
Semoga USB flasdisk yang tadinya tidak bisa dibuka, kini bisa dibuka kembali

Flash Disk mengalami Write Protect

1. Masuk ke DOS Prompt Windows XP dan ketik CHKDSK /F Drive letter : (chkdsk /f v:)
2. Selesai memeriksa dari Check Disk (CHKDSK), coba anda buang file yang ada pada Flash Disk dengan perintah Del drive letter:*.*. Contoh pada perintah membuang file dari Flash Disk di drive V: adalah DEL V:*.*
3. Sekali lagi anda coba format dengan perintah Dos Promt. Format V:
4. Atau gunakan cara melalui Computer Management dan lihat volume drive V, dan anda coba format. Bila masih terdapat pesan error lakukan boot pada computer

Format flashdisk melalui Linux/LiveCD Linux)

Langkah yang harus dilakukan:

1. Booting komputer menggunakan LiveCD Linux, misal Slax KillBill, Knoppix atau distro lainnya,
2. Setelah login ke sistem, masukkan flashdisk yang bermasalah tadi ke salah satu port USB. Demi keamanan data, pastikan hanya flashdisk yang bermasalah saja yang terpasang,
3. Pastikan flashdisk anda terdeteksi, atau setidaknya indikator led nyala,
4. Masuk ke console
5. Pada console jalankan cfdisk /dev/sda1 (sesuaikan dengan flashdisk ke berapa yang terpasang),
6. Delete atau hapus partisi pada flashdisk,
7. Buat partisi baru dengan memilih Create New | Write,
8. Simpan perubahan yang baru saja anda lakukan,
9. Format flashdisk dengan cara mengetikan perintah mkfs.vfat-f32 /dev/sda1 di console.
10. Flashdisk anda telah memiliki partisi baru, sehingga bisa digunakan kembali baik di Linux maupun di Windows.

Untuk meperbaikinya silahkan ikuti step-step berikut ini.

1. Download HP Drive Boot Utility sebesar 45 Mb. Freeware. Software ini mendukung untuk Flash Disk yang bukan keluaran HP.
2. Install software tersebut
3. Tancapkan flashdisk yang bermasalah ke dalam komputer.
4. Jalankan software dan pilihlah drive tempat flash disk anda.
5. Pilih Creae New or Replace Existing Configuration

Cara gampangnya salah satunya  pake software pendownload yang juga sekaligus pengkonversi. Salah satunya adalah TubeHunter

• Pake 1-Click YouTube Downloader (freeware)

Yang ini berupa sebuah program, hasil download nantinya disave di direktori tersebut.

CARA 1: (sampe akhir Nov, 2007, cara-cara ini semua masih sukses)

1. Kunjungi Situs KeepVid (http://www.keepvid.com)
2. Copy URL dari video YouTube yang akan Anda download.
3. Paste URL yang Anda copy dari Youtube ke kolom URL di Keepvid.
4. Pilih opsi YouTube sebagai pilihan (situs ini juga bisa mendownload dari server lain).  Jangan lupa untuk meng-klik icon download untuk menghasilkan links..
5. Situs Keepvid akan memberikan links untuk download video yang Anda inginkan dengan meng-klik (klik kanan (save as)) DOWNLOAD LINK
6. Ketika ada opsi SAVE AS, ketikkan nama file yang diinginkan, dan berikan ekstensi file .flv (biasanya kalau di klik server akan memberi nama get_video.php, jadi Anda harus mengganti nama file-nya) e.q. get_video.php menjadi video.flv
7. Download video tersebut.

CARA 2: (Versi awal tulisan ini yang masih bekerja sampai sekarang (Jul 2007)).

1. Kunjungi situs Video Downloader
2. Copy dan Paste URL dari video YouTube yang akan Anda download.
3. Pilih opsi YouTube sebagai pilihan (situs ini juga bisa mendownload dari server lain).
4. Klik DOWNLOAD
5. Situs Video Downloader akan memberikan links untuk download video yang Anda inginkan dengan meng-klik icon DOWNLOAD LINK
6. Ketika ada opsi SAVE AS, ketikkan nama file yang diinginkan, dan berikan ekstensi file .flv (biasanya kalau di klik server akan memberi nama get_video.php, jadi Anda harus mengganti nama file-nya).
7. Download video tersebut.

CARA 3: (disadur dari komentar yang merujuk ke http://ai23.wordpress.com/2007/01/15/download-youtube-ke-komputer )

1. Kunjungi situs http://vixy.net
2. Masukkan URL video dari YouTube yang ingin Anda convert.
3. Pilih opsi hasil keluaran (output) AVI, MOV, MP4, dll
4. Klik Start, dan tunggu sampai berhasil di convert
5. Done

CARA 4: (Kalau Anda pengguna Mozilla Firefox, mungkin ini paling mudah)

1. Install add-ons Get Video (video downloader) untuk Firefox.
2. Kunjungi situs Youtube atau Google Video.
3. Download langsung dari Firefox (klik icon save di kanan bawah browser).

CARA 5:

1. Kunjungi situs http://ytde.com/
2. Ketikkan URL video yang ingin Anda download dalam kolom yang disediakan.
3. Save file tersebut.
4. Putar dengan Free FLV Player
